IT'S TIME FOR ACTION - Exhibition
Cosey will be in the group show 'It’s Time for Action' at the Migros Museum, Zurich, Switzerland. The exhibition will be open from 25th August through to 22nd October. Her installation will feature mostly different works to those exhibited at Tate Britain earlier this year. It will also include documentation from her acclaimed 2002 action 'Selflessness One'. Also exhibiting are: Patty Chang. Annie Sprinkle, Mary Beth Edelson, Yoko Ono, Mathide ter Heijne, Manon, Pipilotti Rist and Katharina Sieverding. Exhibition Promo | Link

Cosey has been selected for the 2006 Tate Triennial - New British Art - exhibition at Tate Britain in London. The theme of the show is 'appropriation'. Cosey will be exhibiting a selection of her works from her 2005 solo show at the Van Abbe Museum in Holland. Because of the 'adult' content of Cosey's work it is presented in an enclosed installation space. The 2006 Tate Triennial opens to the public March 1st - 14 May 2006. There is a catalogue available. TATE TRIENNIAL SYMPOSIUM
Cosey will be attending the forthcoming Tate Triennial 2006 Symposium: New British Art. It will also include a rare presentation of Cosey's acclaimed 2003 film CONFESSIONS PROJECTED. The symposium takes place at Tate Britain, Milbank. London on Friday 5 May 2006, 10.00–17.30. Entrance is £25 (£20 concessions), advance booking is required. Cosey makes a guest vocal appearence on the new Current 93 album: Black Ships Ate the Sky. Due for release shortly this new album also features, in addition to David Tibet, the vocal talents of the likes of: Pantaleimon, Shirley Collins, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Marc Almond, Antony, Baby Dee and more.

Cosey will be working on a number of collaboration projects this year with various musicians and artists including: Ivan Pavlov (COH), Terry McGaughey (Millimetre) and Alex Fergusson. More information as things progress.

Two years in the making it will showcase a collection of 47 women artists worldwide who experiment with sound in various ways, ranging from ambient-organic to quirky-glitch-beat to harsh or extreme noise, as well as categories yet to be defined...
